The 2014 Cherokee Designed to Overtake the Competition
The all new and radically designed 2014 Cherokee has been revamped to overtake the competition. The silky and forthcoming design, both inside and out, will replace the Jeep Liberty and stand poised to make its mark in the highly competitive SUV market.
The futuristic new grille and wheel designs come with front wheel drive as standard. In addition, it will come with a choice of engines. The new Cherokee can be equipped with a 184 horsepower, 2.4 liter 4 cylinder or drivers can select the more powerful 271 horsepower, 3.2 liter six cylinder option.
The all new Cherokee will begin production in Toledo, Ohio and is expected to get around 31 MPG. It will continue Jeep’s tradition of being a rugged all-terrain vehicle with a new Select Train system that allows drivers to adjust their traction control to changing road conditions. This is in addition to a standard nine speed automatic transmission. These additional gears were designed to substantially boost fuel efficiency.
Additional new features include a totally revamped and lavish interior with an 8.4 inch Pandora, lane departure and collision warning system, a parking system that allows the vehicle to park itself, as well as a new cruise control system that can immediately adapt to changing driving conditions and will stop the vehicle in the event of a possible crash.
The highly anticipated 2014 Cherokee is due to hit dealerships sometime in the fall
